We finally have our Persian rugs in! We've been almost a year working with weavers in India to get the quality and look we were after...and now they're finally here. These carpets are 100% New Zealand wool, completely hand-knotted and herbal washed to give them a warm antique feel.
And...there is a huge difference in hand-made carpets. These are some of the best we've found anywhere. Compare the backs of our carpets, which, by the way, are reversible, to those from China. They claim "hand-crafted" which only means they are loaded onto the machine by hand - not hand knotted! Their carpets have canvas backs on them to hide the ugly machine stitches, whereas ours are incredible on either side you choose!
